Readings
- None… unless you need to catch up!
Prayer
A day off from reading is not a day off from praying or living as a Christian. Pray for something that’s on your heart today.
Day 102 – Day Off

Happy Easter Sunday! Jesus is risen!
As we head into yet another week in this odd Coronavirus situation, here are a few thoughts.
Now’s a time – just like it might be during exam season – when your relationship with God can be shown in a very practical way. You all say that you trust in God – you wouldn’t be 102 days into a year-long bible study if you didn’t. So if you say it with your lips, then do it practically. Pray about your stresses. Give your worries to God and lean on him during the next few months. That doesn’t mean that you don’t have to study your ongoing school work. But tough things in your life, like the challenges we’re facing and the loss of structure in our lives, are a time to come closer to God, not to run away from Him.
See your time doing your daily bible readings as a 30 minute non-stressful, enjoyable distraction from whatever else you have planned for the day. You won’t get grilled about what you learn, or graded on your understanding. But you’ll come closer in your relationship with God – a relationship which is worth more than all the A*s you could ever muster. When I meet up with you weekly, or Mel does, we’re not there to test on what you’ve learned; just to help guide and shape your understanding.
Be encouraged too. This time for many people is full of the beginning of exam stress. You don’t have that now, or at least not in the same way. Count your blessings, and enjoy time with God instead!
