Day 109 – Day Off

Good morning lovely people. I remember, in days before this odd lockdown, being down in North Devon on a beautiful day like many of the ones we’ve had recently. We headed off to a place called Baggy Point, which is a clifftop walk with the most spectacularly lovely views of the Devonshire coastline, and it was followed, I’m expect, by a good cream tea breakfast.

On a morning such as that, we can see blessing upon blessing, as the sun shone down, and the flowers came to bloom and I saw the beauty of everything God has made. I stepped outside and couldn’t help but say thanks to God for what I’m enjoying.

You all believe and trust in Jesus, for which I’m thankful and joyful. My prayer today for you is that you don’t only think upon Christ’s love for you when you’re at church or youth group activities. All it has to be is acknowledging that every good thing we have comes from God, and thanking Him in happy silent prayer whenever we enjoy them, wherever we are!

Just like when the sun shines. Or you wake up and it’s the weekend. Or you have something really tasty for tea. Or you get invited to a party. Or whatever!

Today, try making God part of your whole day by thanking Him for every good thing you enjoy. It’s a GREAT habit to start forming!
