Readings
- None… unless you need to catch up!
Prayer
A day off from reading is not a day off from praying or living as a Christian. Pray for something that’s on your heart today.
Day 158 – Day Off

Sadly there is no Keswick this year, nor a weekend away for the TGI group, but I bet you can remember you weekend away last year, and those when you were Pathfinders and how much fun you had. It was great to take you away to them! What a wonderful thing it is to see you reading the Bible now, all these years later, and to see how your faith has matured.
Weekends away are great because they give you a hit – a 48 hour hit – of a weekend of Christian fellowship and the gospel shared. Keswick, which will be back with a bang next year, is the same on steroids! But when they finish, those who went go home, back in the real world again and their Christian life will be one of making decisions about Jesus in a non-Christian world.
How are you doing at making those difficult decisions? How have you put Christ first this week without the encouragements of Cells or Eureka (even on Zoom!)? I pray you can look at many times when you have put God first (and not just in 30 minute readings sessions). If you can’t – then think once more about what we’re doing in this reading plan and what you are hoping to achieve. Don’t forget, the goal is not December 31st! It’s to know Jesus better as your Lord and Saviour.
