Day 186 – Day off

We’re in the middle of some tough readings at the moment. When me or Mel meet up with you, we’re not going to go into as much depth with testing your knowledge of all the kings, because we don’t particularly expect you to remember the intricate details.

Keep reading and trying to understand the notes each day, but my aim is that you understand the bigger picture of what we’re reading – Israel’s sin despite God’s grace, and that despite the evil of the kingly actions, God’s promise to David that a true king would one day come through his line.

This coming week we’re going to be reading a famous story – Jonah!
